How it works
1. Drawings & brief
Send us your information and what you want to achieve. We can work from simple, dimensioned sketches or marked-up PDFs; DWG files are preferred for accurate scaling and speed.
- Project address and reference
- Elevation drawings with glass dimensions and position of glass fixings
- Fixing intent (channels, point-fixings, posts, handrails, patch fittings)
- Glass preference, deflection limits or aesthetics
- Photos/site constraints and required project dates
2. Initial advice & quote
We review the proposed design and provide an indication of likely glass options with a cost estimate for the full analysis and formal report. In most cases we aim to issue completed reports within 3 days of your approval. Please advise if your timescales are urgent.
3. Calculations & professional report
We undertake Finite Element Analysis with SJ Mepla and issue a professional, clear PDF report suitable for Building Control and client handover. Reports include your drawings and glass schedules plus the resulting analysis stress plots to support a speedy review by the Main Contractor and Building Control.
